ChatGPT to HTML

Paste a ChatGPT answer and turn it into HTML. Most replies are already Markdown. Conversion runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to PCToolsOnline.com or to OpenAI from this page.

This page does not call ChatGPT. It only formats text you paste.

Why a separate page

People search for “ChatGPT to HTML” when a reply looks fine in the chat and breaks in a CMS, a newsletter, or a docs site. The reply is usually Markdown: headings, bullets, fenced code. This page is that conversion, with copy written for that job.

It is not an AI feature. There is no prompt box and no API key. If the reply contains a table or a code block, the preview shows whether the HTML kept them.

How to use

  1. In ChatGPT, copy the answer (not a screenshot).
  2. Paste it in the left box.
  3. Check headings, lists and code in the preview.
  4. Copy HTML to drop into a CMS, or download a .html file.

What usually needs a fix

ChatGPT sometimes mixes Markdown with leftover UI text (“Certainly, here is…”). Delete that line before converting. Citations like 【1†source】 are plain text and will stay in the HTML. Images in the chat do not come along unless the reply includes a URL.

Code fences become pre/code. If your CMS strips pre, switch to the Markdown editor and keep the source instead.

Frequently asked questions

Does this send my chat to OpenAI?

No. This site never sees the paste. OpenAI is not contacted.

Is it different from Markdown to HTML?

Same renderer. This URL exists so the steps and caveats match a ChatGPT reply.

Can I save it as PDF instead?

Yes. Use ChatGPT to PDF, which prints the same preview.
