Markdown to PDF
Turn Markdown into a print-ready page, then use your browser’s Save as PDF. No file is uploaded. This page does not build a PDF on a server.
In the print dialog, choose “Save as PDF”. Headers and the editor are hidden on the printout.
Why browser print
A real PDF library in the browser paginates long documents poorly: code blocks split, images jump, margins differ by engine. The print dialog uses the same layout engine as the preview, which is what you already checked. You keep control of paper size, margins and headers.
The text never leaves this tab. PCToolsOnline.com does not receive it.
How to use
- Paste Markdown.
- Check the preview.
- Click Print / Save as PDF.
- In the dialog, destination: Save as PDF. Turn off browser headers if you want a clean page.
Frequently asked questions
Why is there no Download PDF button?
Download-style PDF builders in pure HTML break on long posts. Print is slower by one dialog and more reliable.
Will page numbers appear?
Only if you enable them in the browser print dialog. This page does not add them.
Can I print a ChatGPT answer?
Yes. Paste it here, or use ChatGPT to PDF, which uses the same print path.
